Xerox Litigation Services is committed to providing a defensible chain of custody for your electronic discovery matters. Eliminating risk in e-discovery requires you to document and demonstrate compliance. With a complete record of every document that your team has viewed, printed or annotated — and a Senior Management team ready to testify on your behalf — you are assured a clear audit trail for each piece of data.

To ensure defensibility in electronic discovery, we employ a proven combination of automated checks, human oversight and rigorously enforced protocols. Using our reporting tools, clients can always track where documents are in the processing and review pipeline. Xerox Litigation Services’ Data Processing Center contains precise workflow tracking, and each processing stage is managed by a separate individual, with peer review and sign-off before advancing a file to the next stage.

Security

Security is also a critical component of our overall process. With one of the most impressive technology infrastructures in the industry, we have developed comprehensive security protocols to minimize risk and protect your data. Xerox Litigation Services is SAS 70 Type II certified, which allows you complete transparency into how our security processes are managed and controlled.

One example of Xerox Litigation Services’ commitment to security is our state-of-the-art secondary data center, which boasts double redundancy to ensure the safekeeping of your data. The Xerox-owned facility is geographically and environmentally diverse and contains more than 5,500 square feet of server space (15k square feet of total space). Designed to handle high-volume and high-throughput, the facility has more than 2 petabytes of storage capacity. Biometric access is required to gain entry into the secondary data center; the building itself is staffed by security 24×7. All electronic processing takes place simultaneously at both the primary and secondary data centers. The secondary facility is monitored remotely from the primary site.

Additional security measures include:

  • Redundant back-up
  • Disaster recovery
  • Detailed audit trails
  • Intrusion detection/monitoring
  • Third-party ethical hacks and audits

All of these practices we employ are designed to keep your data secure and to ensure accurate and efficient data processing.
